Muscat Municipality has announced that it has stopped issuing permits for licensing and opening new shisha (hookah) cafes and tobacco shops.
The Municipality has also stopped issuing new licenses for street vendors.
These decisions were issued by the office of the head of Muscat Municipality on February 24, 2020.
