Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the Supreme Commander, has issued a Royal pardon to 478 prisoners, including 240 expatriates, convicted in different cases, according to a statement by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Tuesday. His Majesty’s Royal pardon coincides with the advent of the blessed Eid al Fitr 1440 AH and in consideration of families of those prisoners.
