New Selective Tax in Oman will be applied with effect from the date of 15 June 2019
Taxable Goods contains pork and it’s meat products, tobacco, alcohol,energy drinks and soft drinks.
Tax rates :
Tobacco and it’s derivatives – 100%
Pork and it’s meat products – 100%
Energy Drinks – 100%
Soft Drinks : 50%
Alcoholic Beverages – 100%
