Muscat: Due to worsening air quality in Bangkok and surrounding provinces, Omani citizens in Thailand were advised to wear face masks outdoors to filter out dust.
The Sultanate’s embassy said that despite reports of improvement of the situation, it’s recommended to take health precautions – especially people with breathing difficulties, the elderly, and children.
Media reported that the level of ultrafine dust particles exceeds safety standards in several areas of the Thai capital and surrounding districts.
