MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Stores and Food Reserve (PASFR) on Sunday held its 4th meeting for 2018 under the chairmanship of Dr Fuad bin Jaafar al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, PASFR Board Chairman. PASFR Board reviewed implementation of decisions made at its previous meeting. It also reviewed its budget for 2019 and its closing accounts. A presentation was given on activities of Oman Food Investment Holding Company in food security projects. The presentation also touched on a report of 2018 second quarter on global prices of food commodities. The PASFR Board also discussed minutes of internal tender committee’s meetings, as well as minutes of auditing committee’s meetings upon which appropriate decisions were taken. — ONA
