ROHM presents Nasser Shamma with ROSO

Naseer Shamma, the acclaimed Iraqi oud musician and composer is known for his unique style of playing and as an ‘Artist of Peace’. In 1999, he founded Egypt’s prestigious House of Arabian Oud. Shamma has considerable experience dialoguing with contemporary international artists in East-West exchanges, such as with world-renowned guitarist Enrico de Lemgour in a 1997 soloist talk forum. Naseer Shamma has composed countless works for theatre, television and radio, receiving high honours and winning many awards. In addition, he has released numerous successful CDs, with Journey of the Soul as the latest. For ROHM’s concert, the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra is led by Lebanese conductor, Andre El Hajj.
